International Symposium on Energy Systems Technologies Annual Review Meeting

February 22 - 23, 2007

Engineer House,  Seoul National University

 Organized by

Research Division for SNU Energy Resources

Invitation

The faculty members of energy resources section in the Department of Civil, Urban & Geosystem Engineering and the Department of Nuclear Engineering have been awarded a governmental funding for establishment of a research center for energy resources. The primary mission of the center, as a part of the second stage of BK21 program administrated by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development of Korea, is to provide an outstanding environment for the education of graduate students and the training of postgraduate research students. Also the center plays critical role in integrating research, education, and industrial collaboration.

I am pleased to hold an annual review meeting to examine all the component of our program with renowned foreign and national scholars. This first annual review meeting is organized in combination with an international symposium on the energy technologies. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them for accepting the invitations and sparing their valuable time in this process.

                                                        Director

                                                      Prof. Kang Joo-Myung
