Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT)
About the Program
The International Summer School is hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), opening up international education for all students from all over the world. More than 1500 students from 22 countries and regions enrolled in this program in the past 7 years.
 
A wide range of courses on 14 themes are available for domestic and international students on campus. All students may choose one theme to study and will receive official transcript and certificate from HIT upon successful completion of the program.
About HIT
Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) was established in 1920 in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. As a member of China’s top nine University Union (C9), it is a National Key University with science and engineering as its core and has developed with management, liberal arts, economy, law and other disciplines. Renowned as “the cradle of engineers”. At HIT, there are 23 schools, 86 undergraduate programs, 9 National Key Disciplines, 7 National Key Labs, and 39 members of the prestigious Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering. Eleven disciplines of HIT are ranked among the top 1% on the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) lists. The material science and computer science of HIT in particular are ranked among the top 1‰, and engineering discipline ranked among the top 1‱. In 2022, HIT ranked 5th on the list of the best global universities for engineering announced by the U.S. News & World Report.
 
HIT has always been an international university since its foundation. Now HIT has signed academic cooperation agreements with 278 universities in 39 countries. the forms of collaboration include student and faculty exchange programs, joint academic conferences, and scientific research cooperation. Together with Weihai campus and Shenzhen campus, HIT forms the pattern of “One University, Three Campuses.” HIT is steadily moving towards the goal of becoming a world-class university.

  • Fluent in English
  • Interested in science and engineering related field
Registration
Registration Limit: 20 students for each theme
Registration Process:
Please send the application form to HIT Undergraduate College at jwcjlk@hit.edu.cn, and all applications will be confirmed (admitted or rejected) within 15 working days.
Costs
Registration fees and tuition fees are waived for international students.
