Seoul National University College of Engineering's Webzine Wins the 2021 Korea Communications Award's Best Prize

Seoul National University's College of Engineering (Dean Byoungho Lee) announced on November 26 (Friday) that the "SNU College of Engineering" webzine won the best award prize for the the Korea Communication Founding Award at the 31st 2021 Korea Communication Awards held at the Korea Press Foundation's International Conference Hall.
 
The 'SNU College of Engineering' webzine is a quarterly student webzine published to strengthen communication and expand interest in engineering with middle and high school students who are prospective engineering students.
 
"It is rewarding and ecstatic to be able to make engineering more understandable and fun, and to contribute in acting as a communication hub between engineering colleges and pre-engineering students," said Hyunsoo Kim, the SNU College of Engineering representative who was in charge of the contents of the webzine.
 
Following the 2020 SNU College of Engineering webzine Korea Communications Best Award Prize, their achievements include receiving of the 2021 New York Festival Award as well as receiving the Korea Business Communications Best Award Prize for the second consecutive year.
 
"The SNU College of Engineering  webzine will establish itself as a hub for the setting dreams and allow communication between middle and high school students that are prospective engineers of the future who might come to Seoul National University's College of Engineering," said Dean Byoungho Lee of the SNU College of Engineering.
 
Meanwhile, the 2021 Korea Communication Awards, which marks its 31st anniversary this year, is an award ceremony in the field of broadcasting media with the most credibility in Korea, awarding a total of 23 related categories and special awards that are awarded in related fields such as communication, including new categories such as ESG, in addition to existing categories such as printed and electronic newsletters, broadcasting and private journals, issued by each company (public company), association, group, or national institution after going through preliminary and final screening of 120 domestic and foreign jury members.
