SNU College of Engineering (Dean Kookheon Char) announced on November 12 that they have selected the final 10 start-up companies for "ENNOVation TANK (Enno Tank) Season II" that has partnered with Hyundai Motor Co.

Enno Tank is a support program that helps engineering technology-based startups to attract real investment and for them to grow and develop. Following the successful conclusion of Enno Tank Season I which resulted in investments worth about 3 billion won, Season II will be held under an investment-intensive program involving the country's leading venture capital.

The 5 companies selected for the pitching presentation of Enno Tank Season II are ▲Smartooth Korea (Next generation oral diagnostic equipment with ultra-compact pH sensor and wireless communication) ▲Team Elysium (3D Sensor-based Medical Diagnostics) ▲Rocket View (Mobile app that searches for detailed information linked to an offline price tag) ▲ Morai (Accurate map-based 3D virtual environment autonomous driving technology verification simulator) and ▲ LS Technology (Smart water grid type non-degradable wastewater integrated management service using high-efficiency high-purity water treatment technology).

The 10 selected companies will receive a total of 75 million won in subsidies for commercialization. The screening was conducted by professional judges formed by the country's seven leading venture capital firms, ensuring real investment to take place from the screening stage.

The 5 pitching presentation teams will conduct investment-focused accelerator racing to present pitching announcements introducing business results at the Demonstration Day slated for March next year. The winner of the pitching announcement will receive a total prize of 50 million won. In addition, on Demo Day, all 10 teams will receive free booths to introduce their businesses and get networking opportunities with investors and related agency officials.

SNU Professor Seung-Yeop Kwak of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, who is in charge of the Enno Tank project, said, "By running Enno Tank, we have played our role as a platform for industrial and academic cooperation regarding the training if engineers and revitalizing the ecosystem of start-ups and creating jobs for young people." He added by saying, "Through Enno Tank Season II, we will help medium-sized and small businesses that will drive future industries to develop and will contribute in creating and improving societal values."
