Penn Engineering offers 15 On-Campus Master's Degree Programs: | - Bioengineering, M.S.E | - Biotechnology, M.B.I.O.T | - Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, M.S.E | - Computer and Information Science, M.S.E | - Computer and Information Technology, M.C.I.T＾ | - Computer Graphics and Game Technology, M.S.E | - Data Science, M.S.E | - Electrical Engineering, M.S.E | - Integrated Product Design, M:I.P.D^/M.S.E:I.P.D | - Materials Science and Engineering, M.S.E＾ | - Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, M.S.E | - Nanotechnology, M.S.E* | - Robotics, M.S.E* | - Scientific Computing, M.S.E* | - Systems Engineering, M.S.E | Key: | Bold: Traditional master's degrees offered by departments | * : Master's degrees offered by Research Centers | ^: Master's degrees that may not be appropriate for engineering students | The total cost of a master's degree program is about $100,000 (tuition + cost of living in Philadelphia). | - Ihsuk Shin Ph.D. (GEE '61, GRE '66) Endowed Fellowship: | · $12,000 tuition credit for duration of master's program. | · Eligibility: South Korean national and graduate of Seoul National University or Yonsei University | - Responding graduates who received their degrees between August 2021-May 2022 reported an average salary of $125,000 and employment in 8 countries | - Of the respondents who identified as foreign nationals, 78% reported they were employed full- time and 65% reported they were employed full-time in the U.S. | - Students who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. are encouraged to choose the thesis option and participate in research during their master's program | Penn Engineering offers 6 Ph.D. Programs | - Bioengineering | - Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering | - Computer and Information Science | - Electrical and Systems Engineering | - Material Science and Engineering | - Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics | All Ph.D. students are fully funded as long as they are making academic progress. The average time to degree is about 5.5 years. Penn requires all Ph.D. students to graduate within 10 calendar years.
