SECOIAS Summer School 2026 – Security and Communication In Aerospace Embedded Systems, which will take place at INSA Toulouse from June 22 to July 3, 2026.

Located in Toulouse, Europe’s aerospace capital, this two-week program offers a unique academic and cultural immersion into the technologies shaping the future of aeronautics and space.

Applications are now open, with only 16 places available. The deadline is March 16, 2026.

Who can apply?
SECOIAS is designed for Bachelor-level students (minimum 120 ECTS or equivalent) in:

• Electronics
  
• Computer Science
• Telecommunications
  
• Electrical engineering and related scientific or engineering fields

Basic knowledge of programming (C or Python) and familiarity with electronics or signal processing are recommended.

A comprehensive scientific program: The summer school offers a hands-on, multidisciplinary experience through four complementary modules:

1. Embedded Systems for a Nanosatellite Mission
   
2. Antenna Design and Fabrication for Aerospace 
   
3. Secure Wireless Communication & Software-Defined Radio (SDR) 
   
4. Security Challenges in Aerospace Communication

Participants earn 5 ECTS credits while developing practical, industry-relevant skills.

Beyond the classroom: the experience also includes:

• A guided visit to Carcassonne (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• An industrial visit to Airbus
  
• A research laboratory tour at LAAS-CNRS
  
• Cultural activities (French Language)with an international cohort

Program fee for students from partner universities: 1 250 €, which includes:

1) 파견학기 기준으로 서울대 공대 학부 재학생 신분이어야 함 (휴학생 및 자유전공/복수전공 학생은 제외)

2) 수강과목은 서울대 학점으로 인정(소속 학부/과 승인 필요)받아야 지원금 제공 가능하며, 학점 인정 여부 문의는 소속 전공사무실로 문의 

3) 지원대학 정보(지원자격, 외국어성적, 학교위치, 수학기간, 개강날짜, 수강과목 등)는 개인적으로 직접 해당교 사이트를 참고하여 지원하여야 함.
4) 기존 공대/본부 주관 단기강좌(하계/동계강좌)에 선발 된 경우, 지원 자체는 가능하나 지원금 제공은 없음. (단, 타 국제프로그램(예: 교환학생, 인턴 등)에 지원하여 선발 된 경우는 지원금 제공 가능)
5) 선발 된 후, 지원을 취소하는 학생에게는 추후 1년간 공대 주관 교류 프로그램 지원 불허 (단, 취소사유에 따라 유예가능)
6) 외국인 학생은 모국어 사용 지역이 아닌 국가로 지원 가능
7) 파견 후에는 성적표 및 프로그램 보고서를 공과대학에 제출하여야 함 (미제출 시, 지원금 반납)
