SNU College of Engineering (Dean Cha Kook-Heon) announces on 14th of its initiation of “ENNOvation TANK 2018,” a startup accelerator program. The ENNO-TANK is sponsored by Hyundai Motors Genesis and its partners.

ENNO-TANK recruits anyone in Korea who is preparing or has launched a tech startup within the recent three years. Eligible fields include Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, 3D Printing, Internet of Things (IoT), materials technology, Blockchain, lifestyle technology, medical technology, etc.

The ENNO-TANK will select five startup teams to participate in this three-month accelerator program. The program will be run by five domestic startup accelerators, including TheVentures, Venture Square, Blue Point Partners (BPP), N15 and Spring Camp. The selected five teams will receive intensive one-on-one mentoring from the five accelerators.

SNU College of Engineering has also formed its own mentoring team that will provide necessary assistance in commercialization, acquisition of investments, equity management, communication, and legal actions. The team will coach the five startups in areas that may cause trouble due to lack of workforce and time.

A final startup will be nominated to receive 10 Million Korean Won as commercialization support and will also be granted the opportunity to promote their products and services to investors and media outlets on the Demo Day that is scheduled for the coming December. On Demo Day, a team that demonstrates great results can receive an additional 30 Million Korean Won of support fund. The fund that ENNO-TANK provides is merely for the support of the startup and is separate from investments.
