SNU OnePredict Hosts Launch Show for Its New ‘GuardiOne’ Industrial Information Prediction Software

- Provides High Prediction Accuracy and Detailed Data and Reason Analysis of Facility Status
- Under Verification and Supply to Famous Large Companies and Global Bearing-Specialized Companies

Professor Youn Byeng-Dong of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Cha Kook-Heon) announces that the unveiling of new products of the venture enterprise ‘OnePredict’s first software brand ‘GuardiOne®’ is to be held from 1-5PM on July 12th at Gold Hall of EL Tower, Yangjae, Seoul. ‘OnePredict’ belongs to SNU Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Professor Yeon Byeng-Dong’s lab.

‘GuardiOne®’ is a software that predicts essential industrial information for facility management like the risk of equipment failure, failure type and location, and equipment’s residual life using various data produced during industrial processes.

The ‘GuardiOne®’ series including GuardiOne bearing and GuardiOne turbine that forecast the industrial information on cloud bearing, the core component of all industrial equipment, and turbine, the so-called “flower of development facility,” is showcased at this launching.

The conventional solution for the management of industrial equipment relied on either the simple analysis and monitoring of industrial data or the data based analysis method. These faced serious limitation in that the results for the analysis results could not be explained.

On the other hand, OnePredict’s GuardiOne has integrated a deep learning algorithm based on the physical understanding of facility failure and has also been supplemented it with interpretation and reason analysis of data in addition to its high prediction accuracy of equipment status. Furthermore, by providing an early autonomous learning function and a user interface of polished design, its usability has been maximized and work fatigue has been minimized.

GuardiOne series is already under product verification and is being supplied to large companies in Korea and some global bearing-specialized companies. This supply is planned to be outstretched gradually.

Professor Youn states, “This new GuardiOne demonstrates high prediction accuracy and analysis skills. Our plan is to release follow-ups on the GuardiOne series that target robot, motor, transformer, and generator sequentially until the start of next year.”
