SNU Global Education Center for Engineers Hosts the ENNOvation TANK 2018 Demo Day with Hyundai Motor Genesis

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Kook Heon Char) announced that the Global Education Center for Engineers (GECE) and Hyundai Motor Genesis (CEO Wonhee Lee) hosted a technology startup accelerating program titled “ENNOvation (Engineering Innvoation) Tank” Demo Day on the 12^th.
 
The ENNOvation TANK is a program that operates on the idle mileage donated by companies and individuals with Hyundai Motor’s Genesis automobile. With this mileage fund, SNU College of Engineering discovers competitive technology startups from all fields to launch fostering program and provide financial support for three months.
 
A total of nine technology startups participated in this event.
 
Five of the nine startups presented their changes after the program and future aims to the investors and audiences present at the event. The five startups included: ▲ “Korea Livestock Data” that provides healthcare solutions to livestock, ▲ “SLOUND” that develops memory foam mattresses with reasonable price, ▲ “Voithru,” an AI (Artificial Intelligence) based cloud sourcing subtitle production platform, ▲ “TAG Solution” that produces transparent display panel, and ▲ “Carewith,” a personalized health functional food delivery service.
 
The four other startups exhibited their prototypes and service at booths. They include: ▲ “Avocado Lab” that develops cooking robots for the kitchen, ▲ “CRE KOREA” that develops commercial real estate valuation solutions using AI, ▲ “The Chairs” that develops Smart chairs that corrects posture with posture correction sensors, and ▲ “BANANA AI,” an auto-inspection solution for videos and audios unsuitable for broadcast.
 
The final selected startup was given a commercialization support fund of 10,000,000 Korean Won and an additional prize of 60,000,000 Korean Won on Demo Day.
