SNU College of Engineering (Dean Kun-woo Lee) stated on 22th that ACS (American Chemical Society) Publications selected Chemical and Biological Engineering Department Professor Chonghun Han as 'Highly Prolific Authors'.
 
Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, a journal in ACS Publications, selected 5 people including Professor Chonghun Han as highly prolific authors with most published articles in the past 5 years. Professor Han published 17 articles during 2011 to 2016 for the journal and also published 53 international journals.
 
Among 5 selected people, there are world-renowned researchers such as Ignacio Grossman from Carnegie Mellon University and Zhibao Li from Institute of Process Engineering Chinese Academy of Sciences.
 
ACS Publications started with the 'Journal of the American Chemical Society' in 1879 and now has over 50 journals. Every year, one hundred thousand researchers publish their works in ACS Publications.
 
Meanwhile, Professor Chonghun Han serves SNU Chemical and Biological Engineering Department, and also leads global engineering training as a director of SNU Engineering Development Research Center (EDRC) which is supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy. Also, as a member of The National Academy of Engineering of Korea, he received Young Engineer Prize, Shinyang Technology Award and Park-Seonwon Academy Award. In addition, Netherlands Elsevier Publications selected Professor Han as the 'Most Downloaded Author'.
