[Introduction] Haecheon Choi (SNU),
Regular Member of the Korean Academy of Engineering Appointed As Member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Education, Science ＆ Technology

Haecheon Choi, Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Regular Member of the Korean Academy of Engineering) was appointed as part of the third Advisory Committee to the Presidential Advisory Council on Science ＆ Technology (Chairman President Moon Jae-in) on June 13.
Professor Haecheon Choi is one of the best scholars in the field of mechanical engineering in Korea and as an expert who is well versed in university policies, he is the Senior Vice President of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers.
The third Advisory Committee will present its vision for the development of science and technology in the medium and long term, and will play a role in advising the President by exploring alternatives that are highly sensible to various issues, including the people's lives and innovative growth, for the government's visible policy performance and creation related to science and technology in the second half of the year.
The term of office is one year.
