서울대학교 공과대학과 캐나다 Polytechnique Montréal 대학교간 체결 한 협정에 의거하여, 다음과 같이 2026 Summer Research Internship에 참가할 학생을 모집하오니 관심있는 학생들의 많은 지원바랍니다.

1. 인턴기관 : 캐나다 Ecole Polytechnique Montréal (Poly-MTL)
    (http://www.polymtl.ca/en/, 몬트리올 위치)
 
2. 인턴기간 : 인턴기간은 조율 가능하나 시작일로 부터 최소 4개월 권장,   해당교 요청에 따라 지정일자에만 인턴 가능.
 
3. 지원금  
  1)최대 총 CAD 6,000불(월 CAD 1,5000불) 지급 가능 by 캐나다 폴리테크닉 몬트리올 (단, 심사에 의해 우수학생으로 선발된 학생에 한함)
  2)항공보조금 by 서울대학교 공과대학 (선발자에게는 모두 지급/상한액있음, 공대 국제협력실 사전 승인 필요)
 
4. 지원자격 
  1) 지원 시점으로 2년(4개 학기) 이상 이수 한 공대 학부생(졸업예정자 제외)으로 첨부파일의 지원 할 연구 과제 요건에 부합해야 함  
  2) 영어 또는 불어 능통자

 5. 구비서류 (모든 서류는 영어로 작성)

   1) 인턴계획서(Letter of Motivation 양식없음,  연구분야는  브로셔 링크 참조) - 중요 심사 자료임
      - 지도교수명, 프로젝트명, 관심연구분야, 연구수행능력 등의 내용이 포함되어야 함 (2개이상의 관심연구분야가 있을 경우, 계획서는 각각 작성되어야 함)
   2) 이력서
   3) 성적증명서 (GPA가 기입되어야 함)
   4) 재학증명서 (졸업직전 학기 학생은 신청 불가-비자 발급 불가 사유/인턴 수행 후 서울대 복학생만 지원 가능)
   5) 여권사본 
   6) 기존 인턴십 보고서 (해당자에 한해)
   7) 외국어 능력 증빙자료 (서울대 내부심사용으로 만료 된 성적도 제출 가능)

*** 국제협력실로 지원 시에는 1)~7) 서류만 제출 (온라인 신청서는 통과자에 한해 진행)

Program Highlights

• 89 research projects offered in 7 engineering fields.
• 25 scholarships are available annually (maximum of 6,000 CAD for 4 months; 1,500 CAD/month). 
• Project listings, eligibility criteria, and application procedures are available both on our application platform and in the program brochure (.pdf).

Internship Duration, Start Dates, and Orientation

• 4 possible starting start dates between January and February 2027.
• Maximum duration: four (4) months.
• Internships kick off with a 1.5-day orientation: a welcome session on Day 1 and a campus tour on the morning of Day 2.

• Ensure that nominated students carefully follow all instructions provided directly in the online application form, including the yellow information bubbles located in the right‑hand margin.

Application Process

• Nominated students are strongly encouraged to complete and submit their application via online. The online information will be provided by the International Office, College of Engineering.

Housing Information

• While students are responsible for securing their own accommodation in Montreal, they will receive support to assist with this process, including a Pre-departure Information Guide featuring trusted housing resources and practical advice, as well as a dedicated housing workshop during their orientation session.

Key Dates

• Early September 2026: We will send results to the candidate directly, with you in copy of our email.
• Kindly ensure that selected students clearly understand they must plan to arrive the weekend before the start of their internship. They should not arrive earlier, due to the 120-day work permit restriction.
