The major in Management of Technology at Seoul National University aims at fostering students visions and leadership to lead a rapidly changing technology-intensive industry through educating engineering, management and economics knowledge.

Management of Technology offers a combined curriculum from two or more undergraduate and major courses. Students majoring in Technology Management take courses from the departments of Industrial Engineering, Economics, and Business Administration. Through this program, humanities and business students can acquire an understanding and ability to utilize the latest technologies. At the same time, engineering students can gain the ability to understand and operate their specialized knowledge in various managerial and economic situations.

Under the broad framework of fostering individuals knowledgeable in both technology and management, Management of Technology doesn't pursue a specifically predefined coursework, instead encourages students to take a diverse range of courses in business, economics, and industrial engineering by enabling them to design their detailed major courses on their own.

Interdisciplinary Major in Artificial Intelligence is a course to deal with AI cores, systems, and applications.
Internships at AI companies or laboratories are essential for practical experience and advanced learning.
As a result, it aims to cultivate talents not only who have knowledge of AI but also can make a practical application.

Currently, we are living in a revolutionary era of the 4th industrial revolution, such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, 5G, meta-bus, satellite communication, smart factory, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Info-communication technology is at the center of these changes, and Info-communication technology is closely connected with computers, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and mobility technologies, changing the world as a tool for innovation.

In March 2022, the combined major 'Intelligent communications' took its first step with the goal of fostering talents who will lead this era of change. In Korea, where manpower is the key resource, fostering key talents in intelligent communications who will lead the future of the country will be more meaningful than anything else.

Combined major 'Intelligent Communications' is combined with The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Department of Linguistics, Department of Public Administration, etc , various fields of study, aims to nurture future talents who will lead communication network technology.
