We are pleased to announce the call for the SNU Global EDGE Fellowship Program for Spring 2021.
Please read the details of the scholarship below carefully and apply within the designated period.
1. SNU Global EDGE Fellowship Program
As a part of Seoul National University’s “Brain Korea 21 Four Project”, this scholarship aims to attract and foster outstanding students regardless of their nationality and cultural background, creating a strong and vibrant intellectual community.
2. Eligible Applicants (must meet all the below requirements)
1) A newly admitted student to SNU as a Ph.D student for the Spring semester of 2021 or a student going through a combined master’s and doctorate program at SNU, and beginning the doctorate program as of March 2021.
2) A student whose major is a department that has a team/educational group sponsored by the “Brain Korea 21 Four Project”
3) A student who doesn’t receive other scholarships regarding tuition coverage
3. Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition
- Monthly stipend (KRW 1,800,000 monthly)
4. Scholarship Period (supported within the normative period)
- Maximum 4 semesters (The recipient must maintain an average grade point of 3.0/4.3 and above in order to sustain the scholarship.)
5. Required Documents
- Application form (use attached form)
- Academic Tran''script'' and Graduation Certificate (both Bachelor’s and Master’s)
- A recommendation letter from a professor from the applicant’s department at SNU
6. Deadline
- Submission to OIA by an electronic official ''document'' from the applicant’s college by March 11, 2021
1) Submit required ''document''s to your designated college’s administration office
2) Please contact the administration office of your designated college regarding submission deadlines to your college’s administration office.
* Important: Early submissions (before March 11th) are strongly recommended so that the college’s administration office can prepare to submit your ''document''s by an official ''document'' to the OIA.
7. Interview: During March 2021 (only those who’ve passed the screening of ''document''s will be contacted)
8. Final announcement of results: During March 2021 to be announced by e-mail (only those who passed the interview and final screening will be contacted)
