Alumni Association

The SNU College of Engineering Alumni Association (CEAA) aims
to promote fellowship among alumni and engage in various initiatives to contribute to the development of our alma mater.
  • Meetings

    • Board of Directors (BOD) : We hold BOD meetings twice a year, in spring and autumn. Our meeting items include reports on the progress of projects and budget execution, and we discuss the operation strategies of the SNU CEAA.
    • Annual General Meeting and Year-end Party : The Annual General Meeting and Year-end Party are held every December.
      During the Annual General Meeting, reports on the progress of SNU CEAA projects, financial statements, budget approval, and audit reports are presented. We host the Year-end Party to foster friendships and strengthen connections among alumni.
  • Publication of "SNU Innovations"

    • The first issue of "SNU Innovations" was published in February 1993 after merging two previous publications, "SNU College of Engineering News" (published by the SNU College of Engineering for 19 years; 54 issues in total) and "SNU College of Engineering Alumni Association News"(published by the SNU CEAA for 13 years; 26 issues in total). Starting in 2023, it is now available in an online magazine format to provide technical information related to academia, technology, industry, and more to scientists and engineers leading the industry of Korea. It serves as a guide to leading our society with abundance in science and technology, fostering exchange and collaboration among readers. You can view SNU Innovations at webzine-eng.snu.ac.kr.
  • Publication of the Membership Directory

    • As part of the New Millennium Celebration Project in 2000, the SNU CEAA published the "SNU CEAA Membership Directory for the Year 2000" on March 31, followed by another membership directory in 2008. The publication has been managed and published by the Seoul National University Alumni Association since 2012.
  • Budget Management and Execution

    • The annual membership fee is KRWand members receive a giro payment slip in order to make their contributions.
  • Support for Alma Mater Initiatives

    • Every year on the day of the SNU College of Engineering conferment ceremony in February, the SNU CEAA awards certificates and prizes to the top graduates from each department within the college. We also provide financial and supply assistance during family occasions of alumni as part of our ongoing efforts to support our alma mater.
  • Support for Club Activities

    • The SNU CEAA provides financial assistance for club activities, such as tennis and soccer tournaments, as well as other club activities that foster camaraderie among members.
