From September 23 to October 25, 2024, the ‘SNUGLITE-Ⅲ A/B Name Contest’ for the Seoul National University Cube Satellites will be held.

SNUGLITE-Ⅲ (Seoul National University GNSS Laboratory Satellite-Ⅲ) is the third Cube Satellite developed by the GNSS Laboratory at SNU and will be launched aboard the Nuri (KSLV-II) rocket during its fourth mission in November of next year. 

SNUGLITE-Ⅲ, a pair of twin satellites that will orbit together and perform their mission, needs names from our university members! Submit your ideas for names today.

A. Duration : Monday, September 23 ~ Friday, October 25
B. Eligibility : All members of SNU (undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff, etc.) are welcome to participate.
C. How to Participate : Submit your name suggestions via the survey link (QR code available in the poster below).
D. Theme : Submit names for the two SNUGLITE-Ⅲ Cube Satellites.
E. Prizes (Presented by the Dean of the College of Engineering)
  - Grand Prize (1 person): Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) and the winner’s name will be engraved inside the satellite.
  - Excellence Prize (2-3 people): 30,000 KRW BBQ Gift Voucher
  - Participation Prize (100 people): SNUGLITE-Ⅲ keychain charm
