SNU Professor Heo Eunnyeong was selected as the next term vice president of IAEE

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Lee Kun-woo) stated on 6th that Professor Heo Eunnyeong from the Department of Energy Resources Engineering was selected as the next term vice president of International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
Professor Heo is the second Korean who was nominated as vice president of IAEE, and he will serve his 2-year term from 2017.
Meanwhile, IAEE is the largest energy economics related academic association with approximately 4,500 members from over 100 countries worldwide. It was established in 1997 and its headquarter is in Cleveland, USA. This association holds an international conference and regional conferences every year. In Korea, the 36th international conference was held in Daegu in June 2013.
