SNU Professor Lee Sin-Doo, selected as a SDI fellow
- First Korean to be selected as fellows for the world's three major journals in the field of display

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Lee Kun-woo) stated on 9th that Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor Lee Sin-Doo was selected as a fellow of the Society for Information Display (SID).
Professor Lee Sin-Doo is the expert in LCD. He developed fundamental technologies of medium-large monitors in 2000, and provided bases for current TV products. Also, he is leading on vertical structured organic light-emitting transistor as new generation display.
Professor Lee was not only selected as a fellow for SID but also was selected as fellows for the Optical Society (OSA) and the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). He attained world-wide honor for him being fellows for the world's three major journals in the field of display.
Meanwhile, SID is a typical display conference which selects five contributors world-wide as fellows every year. The fellow ceremony will be held in Los Angeles Convention Center, USA on May 23rd (local time).
