SNU Department of Computer Science and Engineering Students, won the 23rd HumanTech Paper Award of CSE

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Lee Kun-woo) stated that SNU Department of Computer Science and Engineering Students won top five prizes of the 23rd HumanTech Paper Award in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) part.
 
The First Gold Prize winner is Dongyoung Kim (Advisor Professor Sungjoo Yoo). He was praised for his paper, “A Novel Zero Weight/Activation-Aware Hardware Architecture of Convolutional Neural Network".
 
The Second Silver Prize winner is Ph.D. Candidate Jinhong Jung (Advisor Professor U Kang), and the Third Bronze Winner is Jungwoo Lee (Advisor Professor U Kang).
 
The Participation Prize winners are Jisung Park and Sang-Wook Hahn (Advisor Professor Jihong Kim).
 
SNU Department of Computer Science and Engineering was highly honored to receive five prizes among 8 prizes in CSE part.
 
Meanwhile, HumanTech Paper Award is founded in 1994 to discover and develop the talented human resource in science and technology department. The award is funded by Samsung Electronics. Every year, it announces awards among the submitted science and technology papers.
