SNU signed MOU with the UK XnTree for developing global prospective entrepreneur and star-ups
- Joint program operation of ‘XnTree College’ for SNU students

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Lee Kun-woo) stated on 23rd thatSNU signed MOU with the UK XnTree for developing global prospective entrepreneur and star-ups.
 
The signing ceremony was held in SNU College of Engineering conference room with SNU College of Engineering Dean Lee Kun-woo, Public Relations Vice President Kim Tae-wan, XnTee CEO Chun Jae-won and etc.
 
SNU College of Engineering decided to cooperate for the development of prospective entrepreneur and star-ups pursuing global markets. This is XnTree College which is university cooperative project proceed by XnTree. Currently, this is jointly operated with University College of London at innovative cluster Level39 in the UK and conducted with SNU and University of Incheondomestically.
 
First, SNU College of Engineering jointly manage XnTree College program at SNU. For this, the plan is to make SNU a place for personal interconnection and knowledgeinterchangefor business-education cooperation. Also, it will support globalentrepreneur and internships and participate in theresearch of global core technology and developmental business.
 
XnTree College Program includes more than 60 hours of program; domestic and international technology and business mentoringglobal start-up case study, business model establishment and risk management, and Hackaton. The people who completed the program receive benefits of global internships, global start-up conference and etc.
 
SNU College of Engineering Dean Lee Kun-woo said “We expect increase of SNU global innovative brand value through cooperation with XnTree. With this, we will support for the establishment of the Unicorn Club in SNU of a trillion won enterprise value.”
 
Meanwhile, XnTree is FinTech start-up development company and constructed Canary Wharf financial district of London, UK as smart-city hub of FinTech. Currently, there are more than 200 start-up companies in Canary Wharf and some are among the Unicorn Club. With these experiences, XnTree founded Asian hub for construction of the Asia innovative cluster.
