Seoul National University College of Engineering, held orientation for the 2017 fall semester new foreign students

Seoul National University College of Engineering (Dean, Kookheon Char) held an orientation for foreign students on September 8.

Orientation was held at B103, the first floor under the building number 39, hosted by the Welcome Center of the Office of International Affairs, College of Engineering, Seoul National University. From 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, there was a welcoming letter and explanation of campus life, followed by a pizza party from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A total of 140 people including Dean Kookheon Char, Vice Dean of Planning & Stratege Kwangkeun Yi, New foreign students, visiting students and exchange student participated the event.

Dean Kookheon Char and Vice Dean of Planning & Stratege Kwangkeun Yi encouraged new foreign students and said “We welcome new foreign students to the College of Engineering. All the things that will be experienced and conducted at College of Engineering will shape new future.”

Furthermore, Professor Bernhard Egger of Department of Computer Science and Engineering said “I came to Korea to study from Switzerland and now I became a professor at Seoul National University. I also want you to learn more about Korea as well as knowledge about your field of study.”
