‘Let’s dream of becoming an engineer’
SNU Youth Engineering Frontier Camp started recruitment
-engineering camp for preliminary engineers who will become future leaders

On 5th, SNU College of Engineering (Dean Cha Kook-Heon) has announced that recruitment for Winter Camp For Young Engineering Frontiers has started. Grade 11 students wishes to major engineering can apply for this camp.
The recruitment starts from Nov.23rd 9AM to Dec.26th 6PM. Application is only available on the website (http://beegineers.snu.ac.kr) and the website access is automatically shut down after the deadline. Based on the field of interest, grades, and applications, a total of 160 candidates will be selected (80 in each order), and finalists will be announced on the website until January 5, 2018.
The 1st Camp for SNU Winter Youth Engineering Frontier will be held from January 16th (Tue) to 19th (Fri), 2018, and the 2nd Camp will be held from January 23rd (Tue) to 26th. The program content is the same for each level, and you can choose the camp level you want at the time of application, but you can not change the level after you have been selected.
The camp will be held at the Seoul National University College of Engineering and the participants will stay at Hoam Professor Hall. Programs like △ interesting engineering experiments △ laboratory tours and laboratory experience △ engineering lectures △ engineering associations at Seoul National University △ engineering discussions △ engineering writing △ group activities △ explanation of entrance admission will be held, and the participants will receive certificate of completion awarded in the name of the dean of College of Engineering. In addition to the excellent student awards awarded by the Dean of the College of Engineering, a completion ceremony will be held for parents and mentoring after camp.
The Seoul National University College of Engineering emphasized that, "We are hosting the Youth Engineering Frontier Camp every year for the preliminary engineers who will be the leader of Korea in the future." And that “Most of the mentors running the camp were the participants of the camp at high school. Most of the campers are going to Seoul National University of Technology every year. "
