Foreign students of SNU College of Engineering, had meaningful time at the ‘International Scholars’ Night’

Seoul National University College of Engineering (Dean, Kookheon Char) held the ‘International Scholars Night’ and ‘Poster Competition’ on 15^th (Fri) at 6pm in the building 39.

The event was held to encourage foreign students to close the year in Korea, which is a foreign land for them, and welcome the new year. At this event, foreign graduate students announced the academic achievements they had made over the past year and had time to encourage their accomplishments.
 
Over 150 foreign students, professors, faculty members, and their families attended the event, and the musical club celebrated the event.
 
Tuba Majid, a student of department of mechanical and aerospace engineering from Pakistan, said, "I am grateful to the College of Engineering for making me happy to finish my year in Korea. It was a meaningful event as an engineering student. "
 
Dean, Kookheon Char emphasized that "I thank the professors, students and staff members who have done their best in Seoul National University. We promise that we will work hard for the globalization of college of engineering.“
 
Currently, 400 foreigners and their families live in the college of engineering as professors, students, and researchers.
