SNU Professor Ahn Kyung Hyun Nominated as Winner of the NAEK Iljin Award

SNU College of Engineering (Dean Cha Kook-Heon) announces that Professor Ahn Kyung Hyun of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering has been nominated as the winner of the 14th Iljin Award of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK).
Professor Ahn, as the founder of “Center for Nano-structured Polymer Processing Technology” of over 30 professionals and 20 partnering organizations, has contributed significantly to the restoration of materials processing industrial ecosystem through industry-university cooperation – this has presented him the award.
The Iljin Award, sponsored by the Iljin Academic & Cultural Foundation, is given to a selected individual that has devoted to promoting technology policy and industry-university cooperation.
The laureate receives a certificate and an honorarium of 25 million Korean Won. The award ceremony is to be held on 29th at The Shilla Hotels, Jung-gu.
