SNU College of Engineering (Dean Cha Kook-Heon) signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yulchon (Chairman Woo Chang Rok) for the “4^th Industrial Revolution Project.” The full name of this contract is “Memorandum of Understanding for the Convergence of Yulchon’s Legal Expertise and SNU College of Engineering’s Engineering Technology.” The signing ceremony was held at SNU on 6^th.
 
By this MOU, SNU College of Engineering and Yulchon will carry out cooperation projects for: △ technology commercialization of autonomous vehicles, △ technology commercialization of smart city, △ smart manufacturing and other fields pertaining to the 4^th Industrial Revolution.
 
In addition, interchange programs will be coordinated to enhance the capacities and skills of both sides. Regular exchanges and joint seminars will be held to share feedbacks and specialties on the project.
 
SNU College of Engineering Dean Cha Kook-Heon explains, “In order to seize initiatives of the recently developing technologies, provision of legal protection of the related industries is of paramount importance. This contract with Yulchon shall fortify legal actions to secure new technologies.”
