OnePredict, a Venture Company Found by Professor Byeng Dong Youn, Introduces Its Predictive Analysis Software GuardiOne

Research team led by Professor Byeng Dong Youn of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering released a clip that introduces GuardiOne, the first software of the lab’s venture company OnePredict.
 
GuardiOne is a predictive analysis software that protects industrial assets by predicting risk of failure, position and type of failure, and residual life of industrial facilities using various data produced during manufacturing process of these facilities.
 
The GuardiOne series includes the GuardiOne Bearing and GuardiOne Turbine that predicts information relating to the cloud bearing and turbine, which are both crucial parts to all industrial facilities.
 
The conventional solution to manage industrial facilities plainly relied on simple analysis and monitoring of industrial data or data-based analysis methods. In addition, it failed to provide explanations to the results of analysis.
 
On the other hand, GuardiOne of OnePredict combines the physical understanding of facility failure with deep learning algorithm to provide a highly-accurate analysis of facility status and a probable explanation to that analysis. Furthermore, it includes a basic self-learning system and an user interface with simple and user-friendly design, thus raising the usability and preventing work fatigue. The introduction clip demonstrates GuardiOne’s intuitive interface and puts an emphasis on its technology and philosophy.
 
The GuardiOne series has already been verified and is being provided to conglomerates in Korea and global companies specialized in bearings. It shall be provided to more companies in Korea and abroad.
 
Professor Youn stated, “GuardiOne is our proud new product that boasts a high predictability and analysis power. Throughout the year, we are planning to launch the GuardiOne series that targets all major industrial facilities including robots, motors, transformers, and generators.”
