The Blockchain Society “Decipher” of
Seoul National University's Global Education Center for Engineers Signs an MOU with BRI KOREA

The Global Education Center for Engineers (GECE) of Seoul National University's College of Engineering (Dean Kookheon Char), along with SNU's blockchain society 'Decipher', signed an MOU with BRI Korea - a Korean branch of BRI that was co-established by the 'Blockchain Research Institute' (BRI) that was founded by Don Tapscott and BOSAGORA (Chairman Inhwan Kim), to revitalize the domestic blockchain ecosystem.
The BRI has produced more than 400 research materials since 2017 by conducting more than 100 research projects covering blockchain application cases and producing research papers across various industries around the world. Contributors to the research data include Don Tabscott, the author of the "Blockchain Revolution," and Nick Zsabo, the founder of Smart Contracts, and other industrial leaders that have great insight into the blockchain industry.
BRI blockchain research data is the world's highest in both quantitative and qualitative levels, of which more than 80 are available to the public, allowing the public access to BRI data while the latest data, published in 2021, is only available to BRI members. The cooperation with Seoul National University's Global Education Center for Engineers and Decipher is primarily to carry out Korean translation work on research materials, but ultimately, it focused on the development of the blockchain ecosystem in Korea by jointly conducting research under new topics.
"I am ecstatic to have Decipher of Seoul National University's Global Education Center for Engineers as BRI KOREA’s first partner. It was not easy for the public to access most of the blockchain research materials because they were in English, but by sharing the data that was translated into Korean, we are trying to lower the blockchain threshold for not just those related to the blockchain field but also for the public," said Gail Kang, CEO of BRI KOREA.
"There is already plenty of blockchain data that can be found on the Internet, but if we start collaborative research with Decipher based on BRI research data verified by experts, it would make it possible to generate meaningful research results," said Thomas Kang, Head of the Seoul National University's Global Education Center for Engineers.

BRI KOREA plans to recruit domestic member companies to help form overseas networks for domestic blockchain companies and lower blockchain entry barriers by providing initial advice to companies that are still considering introducing blockchain.

[Introducing BOSAGORA]
BOSAGORA is a blockchain platform that enriches the blockchain ecosystem by establishing an open decentralized blockchain protocol that guarantees transparency of consensus algorithms and clarity of contracts, and incubates meaningful projects (project enabler) with the implementation of collective intelligence by advanced democratic decision-making processes. The BOSAGORA Foundation (Chairman Inhwan Kim), established in Zug, Switzerland on April 7, 2017, received attention for successfully completing the first cryptocurrency disclosure (ICO) in Korea.

[Introducing BRI KOREA]
BOSAGORA (BOSAGORA) formed a strategic partnership with the Blockchain Research Institute (BRI) and established BRI KOREA in 2021. BRI is a blockchain research institute established in Toronto, Canada by Don Tabscott, who is famously known for being the author of the 'Blockchain Revolution'. Currently, about 50 global blockchain thinkers and strategists are actively participating, and more than 100 projects have been carried out with global companies so far, accumulating more than 400 research materials. BRI KOREA, in conjunction with BRI, utilizes BOSAGORA's domestic and international network to provide research on the strategic opportunities, challenges and implications of blockchain technology in business, government, and society.
